Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto is a Weekly Boss added in Genshin Impact Update 2.5. It is the "Puppet" version of Raiden Shogun and focuses on dealing Electro DMG in the End of the Oneiric Euthymia Trounce Domain.

Who is Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto?
Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto is the "Puppet" version of Raiden Shogun whose sole purpose is to ensure that Eternity is always maintained. It was created by Ei (Raiden Shogun) before she had a change of heart and her goals for Eternity in the land of Inazuma started to shift.
Ei's drifting away from the rules she initially set in place caused Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto to become enraged, summoning her for a fight to the death in the Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II - Transient Dreams Story Quest.
How to Unlock Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto
You cannot access the Weekly Boss until you've finished the Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II - Transient Dreams Story Quest, which requires you to have reached Adventure Rank 30, unlocked Inazuma, and completed the Chapter II: Act III - Omnipresence Over Mortals Archon Quest.
Once you've fought Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto in Raiden Shogun's second Story Quest and completed the mission, the End of the Oneiric Euthymia Trounce Domain will unlock. You can collect rewards from beating her again once per week, but more on this later.
The Trounce Domain is located underneath the Grand Narukami Shrine, accessed via a small cave to the north of the Shrine. While the Weekly Boss may suggest your party only be at level 35, it automatically scales with your World Level. It costs 30 Resin to collect the reward, or 60 if you've already used up your three halved Resin benefits for the week.
Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto Walkthrough & Tips
Like other Weekly Bosses such as Tartaglia, Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto has a multi-phase battle - three, to be exact. She uses the Electro element and switches between two forms: human and Baleful Shadowlord. She has several different moves per Phase, which she can use in any order so make sure you're familiar with them all so you can recognize what's coming.

Recommended Team Composition
Because of Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto's Electro DMG, it is recommended that you bring along Pyro, Hydro, and/or Cryo characters, with one of them having the ability to heal as a priority. Having a ranged character to deal damage from afar while avoiding AoEs is also useful. Finally, an Electro character is necessary to have during the Baleful Shadowlord phase of the fight as it's the only way to cancel an instant death move.
With that in mind, we'd recommend:
- Raiden Shogun (Electro)
- Ganyu (Cryo)
- Xingqiu (Hydro)
- Bennett (Pyro)
If you don't have those characters, here's a solid free-to-play option:
- Traveler (Electro)
- Kaeya (Cryo)
- Barbara (Hydro)
- Xiangling (Pyro)
Phase One
During Phase One of the fight, Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto will be in her human form and have one main attack involving Magatusu Electroculi.
The Puppet will throw out two types of Magatsu Electroculi attacks during the first phase. In both, she will place Magatsu Electroculi on the ground that you must destroy, though one attack consists of just one with a big AoE and the other places four with four smaller AoEs. They work very similarly in that you must dispatch of them quickly before you take too much damage, being careful not to stand in the AoE radius. This is where a ranged character such as Ganyu works well, though you can use close combat if you brought along a good healer.
Phase Two
While Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto is in her human form, there will be a circle meter under the right side of her red health bar. Once this fills up, she will transform into her Baleful Shadowlord form and the second phase of the fight will begin.
The first major attack you need to watch out for in this phase is her Flowers of Remembrance move. Here, two giant hands will cover up the Puppet before a giant arm wielding her blade will appear from a crack in the sky. She will then summon a Flower of Remembrance which you must destroy with an Electro character like Raiden Shogun to cause a shield to appear that will protect you from a devastating attack that spells instant death.
In her second move, the Puppet will summon three large pillars that continuously send out Electro DMG shockwaves which you need to jump over to avoid being hurt. Before they disappear, they'll send out three shockwaves at once which can be difficult to avoid unless you've brought along someone like Venti or Zhongli, so prepare to heal yourself straight away afterward.

Alongside the main two moves in Phase Two, there are four smaller filler attacks to watch out for. Sometimes the two hands beneath Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto will break off and try and catch you - simply dodge as they clap together to avoid being squashed. The boss will also strike her blade on the ground which can be avoided easily as a rectangle AoE shows you where it will land, as well as an attack where her swing splits into five vertical slashes and a horizontal slash that you need to dodge. Lastly, she will send a shadow ball at you on the ground which you must run away from before it explodes and causes AoE Electro DMG.
Phase Three
Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto's third phase is similar to Phase One as she goes back into her human form, but it adds some extra moves that you need to learn how to maneuver.
In one of the main attacks of this Phase, she will duplicate herself four times and you must figure out which one is real and attack it to expose the actual Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto. Each special illusion will send out a line-shaped attack, except for the real one which will be X-shaped. Hit it and you'll stun her real form, giving you the chance to go wild and inflict as much damage as you can.
The other move in this final Phase sees the boss move to the center of the battlefield before summoning a circle of smaller circular Electro AoEs around the outside. You will need to be moving constantly here as each AoE will eventually explode and catch you if you're not careful. And if that wasn't enough, once they've all blown up, Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto herself will cause another AoE explosion in the center so you'll need to move to the outside. Make sure your healer is your priority here as you'll no doubt take damage and need the extra support to avoid wiping out.

In general, play defensively and focus on dodging and parrying. At the end of her combo you should have time to land a few hits. She has one wind up vertical strike that almost always breaks your Structure, so be sure to dodge this.
